My name is Glenn Bowie I live in Boston Massachusetts USA . I started writing when I met a friend online about two years ago who was looking for song lyrics I wrote one song and sent it to her , the next day she sent it back to me as an MP3 file in the form of a song it was amazing to hear someone singing the words I had written it inspired me to keep writing more . I now have over 1000 poems and song lyrics I have written , I started writing poetry when I met another friend online from Ireland Caroline Carey who liked my song lyrics but told me I should try writing poetry she and I collaborated on many poems in the beginning but I was writing so much I started writing my own and she was too busy with her business to continue collaborating , I do credit her with my poetry ,she had the vision get me started but I had it inside me ,I just sit down most of the time and start typing and it just flows, other times at work I will write down ideas and lines that come to me and I build upon them later . I work building elevators , I’ve been building them for 30 years now , I love writing now and its all I want to do .I really get a great feeling when I write something , I ‘m trying to get a book published soon and I have a music CD coming out soon with my friend from Canada Julie Schimunek , growing up I was always a huge fan of all kinds of music , I never read much poetry when I was young it never interested me but I always respected any form of art or expression , The internet has changed my life and set in motion another way for me to see things , I’ve always seen the beauty in everything but now I’m able to express and share it with the world, I send my poems around the world now to friends with great response. it makes me feel good to be able to reach out and make a mark in this world , in this life . please visit my new website
